for each session.
SECTION 2. MEETINGS
Regular meetings will be held in the evening on the second
Monday of each month.
SECTION 3. FIELD RULES
- Everyone who uses the training field must sign the
Standard Waiver of Indemnity releasing the club from
liability in the event of injury.
- In order to participate in agility classes offered by the
Club, a handler must demonstrate his ability to control
his dog to the satisfaction of the Training Director.
- No bitches in heat allowed on the training field.
- Persons holding Individual or Family Memberships are the
only members able to use the training field without
supervision.
- For the safety of the dog, the only allowable collars are
flat buckle collars with no attachments (tags etc.) or
agility slip leads; no choke chains, pinch collars or
looped training tabs will be allowed.
- During classes, dogs must be restrained at a tie-out or
in a crate or exercise pen or in a stay when not being
worked by their handler (e.g., while setting up or taking
down equipment).
- Any dog that poses a threat to the health or well-being
of any other dog or person may be banned from all Club
functions.
- Dogs must not be allowed to soil the field. Ideally, the
dog will never soil the field; however, should a dog
urinate or defecate on the field or on any equipment, the
handler must immediately clean up and treat the area.
Failure of the handler to clean and treat the area will
result in dismissal from class for the day. Repeated
soiling of the field by the dog as well as repeated
failure of the handler to clean and treat the soiled area
will result in dismissal from class altogether with no
refund of class fees.
- Dogs must not be aggressive towards other dogs. The
instructor(s) of agility classes offered by the Club will
determine if a participating members dog is being
aggressive during a class. A dog that is aggressive may
be dismissed from the field for the day. Repeated
incidents of unprovoked aggression may result in
dismissal from class altogether with no refund of fees.
- Visitors are prohibited from entering the fenced-in area
of the field with a dog. Visitors who remain outside the
fenced-in area of the field with a dog must leave if the
dog is in any way disruptive to the activities on the
field. Visitors without dogs are welcome to observe the
activities on the field from within the fence but well
outside the area where training is ongoing.
- If any member damages the field, equipment, buildings or
other property belonging to either the Club or the
owner/donor of the field they will be dismissed from the
club with no refund of dues and will be held liable for
all damages.
