Dog Agility! Now that you've discovered it, your life and that of your dog will never be the same again.
We believe that this is the greatest sport around.
In order to provide the best learning environment, Beginner and Intermediate classes have a limited entry. If you would like to participate, please contact Agility Unleashed ahead of time to ensure your position in the class.
Beginners Class schedule varies, but are usually held in early spring when daylight saving time starts and in late summer before daylight saving time ends. Contact our Assistant Training Director for more information. You may also call at 361.749.3597.

Rules for class participation
Intro to Agility, an 8 week course.
- Fee: $60.00 Payable in advance or on 1st week
- First week will be 2 hours due to registration & evaluation of dogs. All other weeks will be one hour.
- BASIC OBEDIENCE A + Sit, down, stay, come
- You will need a copy of your current Rabies and Parvo records.
- Dogs 12 months and up.
- Need to be on flea and tick prevention.
- Dogs will be on leash at all times in this basic class.
- No harsh treatment of dogs. Agility is fun and training is positive.
- Contact equipment is not to be utilized unless an instructor is present next to the piece of equipment with you. Contact equipment consists of the A-Frame, Teeter Totter, and Dog Walk.
- Equipment: Sliplead and regular buckle collar without tags. No choke collars or pinch collars.
- DO BRING water, toys and or treats for dogs and mosquito spray for you.
- Potty area by the side of the garage only. You must pick up after your dog. Pooper scooper will be provided.
 
PREREQUISITES:
Beginner - Dogs must be obedient; i.e, must mind the handler. They should come when called; they should get along with other dogs/people; and it would be a plus if they know how to sit/down. A dog that does not mind will spend all its time evading training and nothing will be gained.Intermediate - Dog must have completed Beginner class or get special consideration from instructor.
All dogs must be current on Rabies and DHLP&P vaccinations. Bordetella is recommended but not required.
The fee is $60. The classes will be held at our training field.
